The movie centres on a mediaeval night named jean de crouge, played by mat damon. His wife, marguerite, played by jode comber, and a rape allegation that marguerite and then jean make against another noble in France. And the way that this charge is going to be resolved in fourteenth century france is is by a duel. By the time you get to the duel, you feel certain ways about it, perhaps, which is interesting.
