The Consequences of Capitalism

There's a compulsory aspect to capital where I mean, ostensibly about free individuals making free choices. The choices they can make are more or less determined by the dynamics of competition. And that is really just the outcome of the goal of maximizing profits and maximizing surplus value. But then of course, this has a feedback effect on the overall social mechanism that then accelerates things in a way that’s troubling.
