Benny and the Cat
Benny and Peter were stuck in a basket with their father, Benjamin Bunny. They could hear the cat snoring above them but they couldn't see anything. The two bunnies leapt at the wall of the basket together to free themselves. It wasn't enough to tip it over or knock off the cat, but the basket rocked back and forth unmistakably. A second later, there was a terrible thump and then a scratching sound and then a bang-boom rustle-crash-smash-y-y-ow!
