When I first started working on IPFS related things, I was making a browser extension that basically kind of had some of the underlying common denominators. So we've seen lots and lots of instances of collaborative data sharing in this way with IPFS. There's a thing called IPFS cluster, which actually uses like a sync algorithm to be able to sync data between different IPFS nodes. And what people have done with IPFS cluster is come up with this idea of collaborative clusters where you might want to contribute to the hosting of critical data.
