Aquinas's Arguments on the Human Soul
The soul can be considered both as an act insofar as it's the form of the body. It communicates essay to the body in a certain sense, Aquinas says. The Soul is rendered individually distinct by the unique way it is related to and determined by its body. Both arguments are getting at the same metaphysical reality, just highlighting different perspectives of it.
