Introduction

Peter Adamson looks at the role of women in Islamic intellectual history. Women have always been allowed to play a part, even if it has been more limited than for men. The only female thinker I've seen fit to mention this whole time doesn't exist. But there were major female mystics who will before long be featuring in this podcast.
