What Do We Get From Fiction?

Fiction provides something it does fiction does we do philosophy in some sense when we write fiction or read fiction or engage in fiction. Some works show us something that cannot be said and when it does that it takes us it gives it brings a certain kind of knowledge or awareness to us which is the goal of philosophy for Plato. If there are insights in fiction that that are unsayable a kind of knowledge that can sometimes be shown to us and not said those are important pieces of knowledge that I believe could play a role in achieving the very goals Plato set for philosophy, he has intrinsically limited in kicking the poets out so he's he's left that that kind of knowledge out of his picture.
