A Social Worker's Story in an Emergency Department

This is one of those stories where the social worker is actually telling you the story of being in an emergency department, but telling it with the feeling and fervor of energy that happens when you're working there. And I'm chuckling because I think you just have to listen to the way in which this wonderful social worker tells his story. It is like it's very fast paced. The peak time for mental health presentations in emergency departments is generally about eight o'clock in the evening. To start a night shift, you start at nine thirty in the evening and you work through till about eight thirty the next morning.
