When he's having a dream, I could be asleep on the couch and in real life only a few minutes goes by. But in my dream, it seemed like I just had a whole adventure. So because your brain just goes whatever pace it wants to go, right? My hunch is that it's very plastic. And obviously this is anecdotal, so I'd be curious to hear what an expert has to say.
