The Importance of Black Cinema in 1989
Oscar Michaud created a rather robust underground circuit of Black cinema that was being produced. A lot of which has fallen into public domain, so it's out there for us to easily access and thus give a review. The wonderful thing about the podcast going on this long is we place them within the Michelle Mission context. So it's almost like this ongoing conversation about how they relate to one another as well.
