Chuck Schumer's Speech on AI

Congress has not shown itself capable of addressing major issues over the last 20 years or so. Having been burned on this so many times, I don't think people can we can wait for Congress if the harms we're talking about are serious and some of them I do believe are serious. But yeah, I mean, they're good at doing this. They had a great process leading up to the entire conversation about tech regulation but I wouldn't hold my breath.
