Uber is a good example. Without a massive disparity of resources being allocated to make this thing an amazing story, it never reaches the door. $1 billion has been invested into Uber and it still might never be a profitable business. The reason I got about $200 worth of door dash credit in my account right now is because I'm an acquisition cost and they want to keep pumping their numbers as well.
