The Hurting had huge success outside of America. It was bigger in New York and LA. So the first time we ever played in America was after Songs from the Big Chair, and our first show was a little club in Hartford, Connecticut. And by the time we got there, everybody wants to rule the world was number one. But then slowly as we got on, as they managed to then make the venues bigger and bigger, they started changing the venues because everything had taken off. I want to get to the fame, the wind under your wings, and you really take off.
