Portfolio Diet and Cardiovascular Disease

With the portfolio diet we did see large reductions in an LDL cholesterol depending on which study we're looking at if it's dietary advice or if all the foods were provided. So based on that we can assume to see reductions in atheroschotic cardiovascular disease but of course we don't have that trial, exactly say that. We did see about a 14% lower risk of coronary heart disease as well as lower risk of cardiovascular disease but we didn't see an association with stroke.
