Is There a Difference in Zoning in Canada?
Canada also has a somewhat less developed mass transit network in terms of certain cities. In Montreal, virtually the entire metro system is surrounded by old fashioned like row houses. Toronto tends to cluster apartment buildings and stores near the train stations. Vancouver is a very weird bird because they simultaneously have huge amounts of development near the stations but their zoning restrictions are still very intense.
