Is There a Difference Between Onboarding and Onboarding?

I would love to see data on like success rate. I think it obviously depends on the role, but then how do you call that shot? Like, it's incrementally over a period of years, and I guess you just keep slowly moving somebody up. It's really hard to predict whether or not someone is going to be able to continue to take that next step. And so then it just becomes,  someone very senior at the at the top needs to know how to do that very well.
