The History of the World

For the entirety of human existence, until about 89 years ago, the world was a battle over scarce resources. When different tribes and differnt peoples came into contact with each other, they usually either created some sort of alliance or fought - one side one and one side lost. And pretty much what you're doing by ascribing all the evil intentions and all the moral and ethical blame to the colonizing countries is an historical illiteracy. The liberal approach towards history that takes more of a progressive outlook towards things than it traditionally has does not hold up in modern times.
