How Did Writing Fit in With Your Art Practice?
Sally Kohn: I was finding myself at a point in my career as an art ist where i had, you know, done everything that i was supposed to be doing. But then there's this kind of natural dip and i was always sort of watching these people who were older than me as they kind of encountered that doldrums period. And so it was with that idea in mind that, quite out of the blue, i found myself in this experience where this gallery that was owned by a jane or nina was flooded horribly in hurricane sandy. That really solidified in my mind this idea that maybe the next thing for me was going to be something more immaterial.
