The banging grew louder and louder. The only coherent thought in my head at that moment was think im going to make it out alive to night, the persons started screaming to be let inside or they were going to murder every single one of us. At this point, the mob came running down the stairs and told me in a whisper to hide and turn all the lights off. I tried to put on a brave face, but i failed miserably. Tears kept rolling down my face. I ran back into the living room, turned everything that emitted even a speck of light off. "I intended to make that place show no signs of life, like mine depended on it," she said.
