Merlin Power 51 - The First Merlin Engine
The mustang was designed for a different engine. The british made the suggestion to use merlin engines under license th. It didn't take that long, although there were a lot of little refinements and adjustments they had to making it work on the air frame. A big difference between the british, british merlins and the american merlins is,. the plugs on the American merlins would foul a lot faster than the ones on the britISH merlins. And one of the things you have to do as an aeroplane pilot is to get rid of all the parts to put the utyans in your plane.
