The Dark Valley of Technology
Every new technology goes to this period of kind of collective euphoria, followed by a whole bunch of negative unintended con, consequences that come as a result of that. And I think the days of technologists having no, no qualms and no expected responsibility for what they build are probably over in some ways. So you need to ask some of these questions about what might go wrong in order to get the scale that's required to have a big impact. The goal shouldn't be to avoid the valley entirely because we're not going to be able to, right? But it should be to reduce the depth of that valley and reduce the length of that valley.
