Avantika chilkoti is an international correspondent for the economist. She has been speaking to a 31 year old woman in central ukraine called tamra. When russia invaded her country, she was 30 weeks pregnant. And she was fleeing for her life and for the baby inside her. But tamera was lucky. She gave birth in april, and the baby is safely with its intended parents back in the uka. Avantika Chilkoti: Is there any way of helping women who are far less lucky than you were when war broke out?
