"It's deeply offensive to be told that i'm the confused one," she says. "I don't need to explain and give a whole soliloquy of why the church isn't true, a which they don't respect anyway." She doesn't like how women are treated in the church or black people have not been treated fairly in the church,. It makes her feel uncomfortable; it prevents her from feeling the spirit.
