I think my biggest mistake is that I didn't seek more outside mentors. There probably was a lot of people that probably would have been down to do that, but I just didn't really know how to ask or how to reach out to that. And I think it burnt out. I've heard so many burnout stories and I don't want to be able to give insight to the next generation on Hey, man, you not want to do this and do that. But it's like, do I need to touch the stove to know the fire is hot?

Maestro is the Founder of The Iconic Expressions, a brand marketing agency based in Cleveland, Ohio, that helps minority-owned brands connect with their audience utilizing marketing strategy and automation.
He is also the Founder of Iconic eLearning, an online education platform that teaches young minority entrepreneurs what they need to know about branding and marketing to start and scale their businesses.
