I've been doing this a long time and I still stand by my recommendation of 12 gas cans with numbers on them one through 12. And then you have 60 gallons of gas in reserve at all time, none of it's more than a year old. The scene at the top where the handle is ruptures. Everything will want to eventually ruptures. There are ways to deal with nozzles. Do not store your few food in your fuel.
