This is the same thing that happened in the story of the feeding of the 5,000 in Mark chapter 14. And now it happened that on the next day their rulers and elders and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem. Paul writes about this in Philippians chapter 1 verse 12, which is written from prison. He says, "Now I want you to know, brothers, that my circumstances ... have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel"
