The most obvious difference between men and women is that women have babies. The choice of fields matters also because with women know they're going to have to stay out of the labor force for a few years. Military technology, computer technology and so forth make it rational for women to pick an entirely different mix of occupations than those at Menpik. There's really very little income difference today between men and woman who are comparable across the whole range of things that matter.
