How to Organise an ELT Event
In April 2013 at the first awards ceremony, only five events based in the UK had achieved any kind of gender balance of speakers. We also set up a website and wrote articles about the Fairlist UK. The recent pandemic they meant that we were kind of on the hold, paused for a while but now that ELT eventsbased in the UK are picking up again, we're back in business. If you go to the website www.thefairlist.org you'll find lots of ideas for you when you either organise an ELT event yourself or are thinking of presenting at an event Or participating in an event.
