CNN's John Defterios and CNN iReporter Karni Choksy have a new book coming out. The leaders of both parties were totally in the dark about what was going on at Fort McNair, they say. They browbeat the Pentagon and then call Vice President Mike Pence for help calling in the National Guard. And so there's this sort of unreported role about what the leaders did on that day.
