Brokers are in some ways worse because they fall for a lot of the same narratives that their own clients do. The whole broker mentality changed when they changed how they got paid. Most of these funds, most of these brokers run these managed accounts where they charge,. let's say 1% of the assets. They're all ETFs. That's where I think the brokers have really dropped the balls. And anytime the regulators do anything, it's in reaction and not proactive.
