You Can Have Good Data or You Can Use It for Performance Management
Teachers have a lot less personal at stake in the results of those tests. It's really scary to think that there might be teachers that are held to account on the basis of, you know, some commercial standardized tests they've taken. You can have good data or you can use it for performance management. That's your choice. There is only one target in a primary school that's measurable. That's for all children to be expected standards. If you want a target, 100%. That's it. I'm not going to hold anyone to account on that.
