Serotonin and the Chemical Inbalance
Drugs were being marketed alongside this narrative that people had a chemical inbalance, and that's why they should take them. So if we just set aside sort of the marketing and the pharmoceudical company and the profit motive side of this, why why s s arise at the time? Why did they even start doing trials with selective seratonian reuptic inhibitors in the scientific research world? I'm sorry, i can't answer that question.
