I think of trauma as like you internalize something so much that yeah, you don't even realize the sort of self oppression and you know, that you're sort of enacting in your own life. I've been reading a little bit about a particular church where folks have been coming forward in a Korean church with sexual abuse from leaders in the church. The story about the glass in my finger is useful for this comparison to spiritual trauma in a few ways,. especially when we consider the way that our physical and psychospatial social systems are all interconnected.
