Introduction

Jack Cornwall wanted to be in the Navy when he left school. He was too young and instead became a delivery boy for Brookbond Tea. At 15 years old, he signed up to the Navy. Jack got his special bravery award for rescuing a little girl from a drain. Now back then Britain had a really big Navy. It was so big people said it was as if Britain ruled the waves.
