Is There a Biblical Importance of Modesty in the Bible?
Purity culture is an idea that men's sexual holiness is dependent upon women removing any possibility of temptation from them. That also, i think, is completely contradictedb by scripture. There is no of blame for men's a unholiness, and certainly not their predation upon women. Even in the passages that are speaking to modesty. We don't go around new for a reason. But most of what is being spoken to in terms of modesty in the bible is not speaking so much to, are you showing too much skin, as much as it is talking about a status,. Don't wear cos ly attire and jewels but dress modestly.
