How Did Anthony Bonsemino Get a PPP Loan?
Anthony Bonsemino was ordered to pay about $800,000 and sentenced to 36 months in prison after obtaining over $2.6 million from four separate PPP loans. In late 2021, the Justice Department announced that a seven-member fraud ring was sentenced for their own multi-million-dollar COVID relief scheme. The leader of this ring, like Mo, got 17 years in prison. Though Richard Avazian, as well as his co-conspirators, all used fake, stolen, or synthetic identities to apply for about 150 PPP and EIDL loans. They also used this money to live the luxury lifestyle the group deluded themselves into believing they deserved.
