The Custer Massacre

Private Charles Windoff received the Medal of Honor for his actions at Little Big Horn. He was born in Germany and emigrated to the United States, he became a cobbler like his dad. The five troops who were with Custer simply got cut to ribbons; every last white man destroyed. A crow Indian named Curly said he escaped from the battlefield by putting a blanket over his head and pretending he was a wounded Sioux.
