The Prologue: A Review

There were a couple of grammatical things that I'll point out just because these are really common ones that tend to shovel up for me in my own writing. The way that it's written makes it seem as if the slogging and the freezing are happening at the same time. But overall, I did feel like there was a lot of greats, interiority in the prologue. There was also some really beautiful imagery. And I love the way that the author describes the chickens as quote, six plump sacks of anticipation eyes starting as if they themselves were surprised at how they had arrived atop their resting metal room. So great job there.
