In 18 90, he had a full blown nervous breakdown. And he spent the final decade of his life in an asylum. The book i'm going to talk about comes from that period. It's somewhere before the edge of madness, but it's ot that far before. Arespect has quite a lot in common with rousseau's second discourse, the discourse on inequality.
