In 1980, Playboy published three major articles attacking mainstream feminism as alarmist and anti-sex. In 1989, Playboy published the first installment in a four-part reported series, On Sex at the Dawn of the 90s. Ellen Willis is credited with coining the term pro-sex feminism.
