He says Americans get involved in a bunch of people's conflicts, whether it's shipping weapons,. drone striking, putting boats on the ground and military bases. But I think, Afghanistan being a good example, you run a war for 20 years and you withdraw and within a couple of weeks, the government disappears - except they have smartphones.Lindyman: Even if the US is in kind of decline, people are kind of all larping US stuff.
