A hot day in the summer is obviously quite different from a cold day in the winter. The long term trends in your localclimate are ar very slow moving. But because we have been pouring vast amounts of these heat trap and greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, we have seen a rapid rise in temperature. That temperature change has been 50 times faster than the very slow changes in the past five thousand years.
