The biden administration had worked all year to restore the united states reputation on the international stage when it came to climate change. They brought in former secretary of state john carey, who had helped broker the paris agreement, to serve as the special envoy on climate. Now is the point though, where, you know, push comes to shove, and and it is a very challenging thing to communicate. People around the world, we're ready for the united states to take charge on climate. And i think that the sort of good will that he had over the course of the year is going to be tested.
