Pierre Menard: A Novel About Borja's First Job

Argentine writer Borja wrote Don Quixote while convalescing from his illness in the summer months between January and April 1939. He decided to write something he had never done before so that he would not feel so bad if he failed. His first day at the library, he was surprised to find that there were some 50 of us doing what 15 could easily have done. The cataloging job had been planned to give them some semblance of work.
