The Trauma of Discharging a Mother in a Local Hospital
Paul's mother was refusing to be discharged from the local care home. She had a total nervous breakdown three years previously with the stress of looking after her father. Paul said he suddenly had this eureka moment but hang on a second we got two rooms full of equipment and cleared them out. He then asked his friend whose mum was stuck in hospital if they could look after her for a month. Carehams were set up so that both their parents could get some relaxing time.
