Hellspan and LifeSpan in Mice
i think of hell span as a useful concept, but when we want to talk about the effect of interventions or or genetic manipulations on health, we need to be precise in what we mean. There is no agreed upon assay or set of metrics where you can qualify healt span. Youw'll see titles of paper where people say, you know, x increases life span and hellh span in mice, right? That's false. The author should know better. And yet, you will seeandad i've done this in the past, so i admit, i'm guilty of this, but i've stopped doing this.
