Is Infant Baptism a Novelty?

There is no evidence that infant baptism was a new practice in the early church. Tertullian famously argued against baptising children, and he's got a whole pito treat Baptism on all the other things we will see in the future. We have this talk of children as young as infancy seemingly being described as christians. It just makes them o sense that it would have been the same in a new testamand baptism as well. And then we havethi these instances of graves. Those really keep because it is very clear in many of their testimonies that christian is synonymous with the baptized. That's key to conclude.
