Randal was having sex with the captain, or beating him there. The cop came upon them and so the captain had to kill the cop because obviously the cop knows who he is. So why would randal go to the police station to only talk to the captain? I if he doesn't, no, as tat he baptin, he doesn't know. It's just a trick to him.
