Introduction
In December 1982, Clive Barwell drove his car into the centre of Bradford in West Yorkshire. He waited patiently until he saw what he was looking for, a woman alone in the car. Moving quickly, he pounced and brutally raped the 30-year-old victim. The case involved police incompetence, prison service incompetence, robbery, rape, drowning murder and a good dash of conspiracy theory as well.
