The ship's three masts are too high for the bridge. The city was like, we don't want to dismantle it. People get outraged about bridge stuff. It's very sensitive. If if people yell at a tug boat going through a locksbridge during lunch hour, i can only imagine the type of anger that would be involved in dismantling and reassembling an entire bridge.
